A Bit of Inspiration

Yeah, so I have just a few minutes here at the end of the day and I have to admit, I’ve been a little underwhelmed at work lately. We have a kink in the process that is slowing the our work flow, but it should be fixed soon. In the meantime, I’ve been brushing up on skills and things and in the process, I stumbled on a webinar put on by the people who made our content management system; Paperthin. The webinar had an intriguing title, something like how to launch 58 websites in one year. I say intriguing because we are basically trying to do the same thing. I bring it up because it was so inspiring – mainly because I’m not the only one going through the stuff I’m going through out here.

There were some key take aways like educate your leadership (oh, hadn’t thought of that! – ha ha) but what gave me hope is that although they are getting huge numbers of websites launched quickly, they didn’t do it over night. In fact it took them a couple of years to be that agile.

I will share more insights from that webinar tomorrow, but the key for today is we’re not alone in the insanity. Stay the course, fight the good fight, we’re on the right track.
